coward journalists

yep. san francisco again. in addition to having a rather amazingly terrible record at keeping witnesses alive, san francisco's po-po are apparently really into bad mouthing people that don't trust their ability to keep them alive.

I point to Lt. Mike Stasko, who said of a journalist student who prefers to stay alive:

"we're just going to find some witnesses who aren't cowards, like this student is, hiding behind the shield law"

"beavers blamed for likely bank failure"

ooooh so many choices.....

Which is more Californian?

Snarky journalist coming up with the headline "beavers blamed for likely bank failure" while financial institutions worldwide are collapsing?

Snarky animal advocates who come up with names like "Worth a Dam" for the non-profit beaver advocacy groups?

Lawyers who are known as wildlife preservation specialists?

Local governments that make crap up just to kill animals?

I can't tell.

Oh and why didn't the journalist (I use the term lightly here) say "Downtown Martinez has more beaver on display than the folsom street fair"?
